My passion for video editing emerged when I was just 9 years old and was determined to learn how to make someone disappear from the shot like magic (update: my video editing camp counsellor taught me how to use the ripple effect in iMovie, and it was life-changing).

I continued editing home videos of my cousins, friends, and myself, and made a YouTube channel to post them (because I genuinely thought those skits could be my big break). Years later, that YouTube channel turned into a way for me to keep a schedule of editing 1-2 videos a week, learn new techniques in the process, and realize that this is what I wanted to do with my life.

I went on to win the Shawn Levy award from my high school for the most promising career in film, enroll in the cinema program at Dawson College (pre-university), and graduate from Queen’s University with a Degree with Distinction in Film and Media. I have experience working a diverse range of jobs, from behind-the-scenes videos for a fashion magazine to urgent pandemic-related videos for a children’s hospital.

I’m most at home on my computer with editing software open to a project that I’m bringing to life. I use my passion, eye for detail, and creativity in every job I take on. I’m beyond excited for the next chapter of my life as a video editor, and I hope you enjoy watching the videos in my portfolio!
